Eelko Brinkhoff studied Economics and International Marketing in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and started his career at the Foreign Investments department of the Brabant Development Agency (BOM) in 1999. Eelko assisted companies from all over the world in setting-up their European operations in the Dutch province of Brabant. In his career at BOM Eelko took on a new challenge as Director Foreign Investments in 2014. In 2016 a new team for International Trade was created under his supervision. Today he is part of the management team of BOM, Invest in Holland and Trade & Innovate NL. In addition he is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Holland International Distribution Council and one of the founding partners and Board member of Dutch Industrial & Logistics Association (DILAS)
